These are particular photographic products, which allow, once positioned (on a tree, a pole) or fixed to the wall, to detect the passage of animals and / or people (subject to warm blood), thanks to the infrared sensor, and to record its image without having to fire the flashes (there are models with this function too). They work automatically and autonomously thanks to the use of normal batteries. Camera traps therefore become a useful tool for taking a census of particularly elusive fauna (for example, mammals with nocturnal habits) without disturbing you. They can also be used for security and surveillance reasons in wooded, rural, industrial, commercial and private areas.
