Identification Guide to European Passerines

The last revised and enlarged edition (5th) of the identification guide to the European Passerines, in 13 x 18.5 cm format. This leading guide for European ringers, on the market for over 50 years. In this book are traeted 267 species of Passerines, 38 more than the previous edition. There are numerous new or improved drawings, in total now almost 500. There aldo detailed advice on ageing and sexing, and a summary of moult strategy, for each species. Finally, there are brief accounts of subspecific variation and distributio ranges based largely on the author's own assessment of large quantities of museum specimens.
